Throughout February, McKinley students worked extra hard to develop their literacy skills by coming to school every day and reading Dr. Suess books. In March, they celebrated their hard work with cake for the whole school, using a generous grant from the Foundation for Tulsa Schools.
Now that school has moved to remote learning, librarian Donna Bishop wanted to make sure students still had the opportunity to dive into a good book. So, during meal pick up, Donna set up several carts of books for students to select from as they came through. The school also had packets with school supplies available so students would have what they need to complete their school work at home. Check it out:
