This month, 20 Tulsa Public Schools fine arts teachers received the Betty Bradstreet Arts Education Award on behalf of Assistance League® Tulsa. The award is given to teachers to provide funds for classroom projects to promote the fine arts, music, and drama at their schools. 

“We are incredibly proud of our fine arts educators,” said Superintendent Deborah Gist. “We believe every student should have the basic knowledge, skills, and appreciation of the fine arts. Throughout this pandemic, our teachers continue to safely promote the fine arts, music, and drama at their schools, while thinking outside of the box to help our students develop new skills that benefit learning across the curriculum.”
